Adrienne Bankert
Adrienne Bankert is an award winning national news anchor. Recruited to help launch and host the inaugural “Morning in America,” broadcast on NewsNation, she is now at the helm of Special Projects for the network. Prior to hosting her own show, she worked for five years, with ABC News, winning two Emmys for her work on “Good Morning America” as well as reporting for “World News Tonight with David Muir,” and “Nightline.” She has been assigned around the world - from Tokyo, Prague, and Paris for the 2019 Women’s World Cup. Adrienne has covered some of the biggest headlines including tragedies like the Parkland high school shooting, to breaking news of the youth soccer team trapped in a Thailand cave. Her interviews include conversations with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Lady Gaga, Brad Pitt and Viola Davis. She even sang with country music legend Garth Brooks! In her latest book, "Your Hidden Superpower: The Kindness that Makes You Unbeatable at Work and Connects You with Anyone," Adrienne shares how the power of kindness creates an authentic method and muscle memory for being more fulfilled, more relatable, and cultivates a genuine safe space within teams, friendships, with strangers, and high-caliber individuals wherever we are. Adrienne is based in Chicago, where she is still living in awe of her beautiful new hometown. An alumna of the University of Southern California, she enjoys coming up with new ideas to engage with technology, media and cultural innovation.
